Steph was looking at my portfolio the other day and saw the divider labeled "Frequently Asked Questions" and asked if it was a FAQ section on myself. It was not it was for the Covey Center for the Arts, (an organization that I did some PR work for). So this incident gave me the idea to create my own FAQ section.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do you spell your last name?
A: T-O-M-O-S-E-R
Q: How do you pronounce your last name?
A: TAH-muh-ser
Q: Is your hair naturally curly?
A: Yes, it took a while to tame the beast that is my hair. (Middle school was a nightmare, two words: triangle hair) But now that I know how to work with my hair, I enjoy it. Just hop out of the shower, put a few products in, scrunch and go.
Q: What is your major?
A: Public Relations.
Q: (And the inevitable follow-up question) What do you want to do with that?
A: I'm not entirely sure, I've enjoyed all of the aspects of PR that I've explored thus far. I've had a lot of experience in non-profit PR and I'm very excited for my PR internship in NYC with LDS Public Affairs. I'm also very interested in other aspects of PR. Currently, I've had an elevated level of interest in social media. Long term, I think I would like to work in corporate PR, but I'm a fairly open book.
Not so Frequently Asked Questions, but maybe they should be
Q: What are two goals in life (not horribly serious)?
A: I want to ride on an irrigation sprinkler. I haven't decided if I would prefer the ones that go in a straight line or the ones that have a center post and go in a circle. But either one would suffice in my goal .
Secondly, I would like to give a speech/talk and use a teleprompter. I figure you have to be speaking at a pretty important event to have the use of a teleprompter. Now, I'm not saying I want to be a "big shot" who gives speeches all the time at big, important events. But at least once, that would be awesome.
Q: What pair of socks are your favorite?
A: ARGYLE SOCKS!!!!!! I love argyle and therefore love argyle socks. A specific pair though, would probably have to be the knee-high beige, pink and white ones Jamie got me for Christmas. They maketh me happy.
Q: What are your thoughts on paisley?
A: I like it, my bed sheets are a nice blue paisley deal.
